Steering Group

The Steering Group informed the delivery of the TRiFOCAL project and provided advice on the campaign development and delivery as well as guiding the EU replication activity. A key part of this was the design and development of the project Resource Bank to share outputs and support other cities in replication activity.

The Steering Group was responsible for:

  • Inputting into project milestones as required
  • Reviewing progress against TRiFOCAL targets
  • Liaising and engaging with other relevant local, national and international initiatives
  • Identifying partners and stakeholders that needed to be involved in TRiFOCAL and facilitating those relationships
  • Tackling and resolving cross-cutting issues from the project
  • Acting as advocates of the project and promoting the aims and objectives of TRiFOCAL to drive interest across European cities as well as promoting uptake of the project outputs, in particular the use of the Resource Bank

The replication activities included:

  • An interactive Resource Bank where evidence, guidance and examples of campaign materials are available to download
  • Identifying mentors who will provide ongoing support to an individual replication city
  • Each replication city organising a seminar on the results and lessons learnt from the project and their experience in implementing the initiative themselves
  • Replication cities acting as ambassadors of the TRiFOCAL project in their countries

  • Agency for Waste Management, Oslo
  • Brussels Environment
